The defeat of the pests and diseases of sugar beet breeding material (Beta vulgaris L.), depending on the seed treatment

In Ukraine every year, during the growing season of sugar beet, there has been considerable development of various diseases. As the result the losses of yield can be 40 - 50, and sometimes more. Such roots preserved very poorly in the field and in the piles. Among of the disease, the most common in Ukraine, it should be noted the Black Leg. Black Leg - is the comprehensive ecological and microbial disease associated with the deteriorating conditions of sugar beet plant vegetation, especially in the early phases of development.

Among the pests that damage the crops of sugar beet and can cause the disease of the Black Leg, possible to note the sugar crumbs. It is harmful especially in areas with high moisture of the soil.

The article was shown the results of researches of resistance the components of the heterotic hybrids of sugar beet to major diseases and pests - Black Leg and beet crumbs. That is treated with various protective-stimulating substances. It was proposed the best genotypes included in the subsequent breeding scheme of the researches.
